Based in Cramlington, Northumberland, Airservices(UK) was founded in 1984 as a unique mobile breathing apparatus cylinder testing business. Within 5 years we had expanded into breathing apparatus servicing and training. The following 5 years saw our expansion into compressor servicing and air purity testing.
1995
Saw the company achieving BS 5750 Quality Management System, the original version of what is now ISO 9001:2015. Airservices(UK) are now registered for all our services to the latest standard.
2001
Airservices(UK) went limited and our official title is now AUK (rpe) Ltd t/a Airservices(UK).
2006
We became the first UK cylinder test company to achieve Inspection Body status by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service to ISO/IEC 17020.
2015
We achieved recognition by Fit2Fit for quantitative face-fit testing
